statement of faith
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. The entire Bible is true, accurate, and unchangeable. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Luke 1:35 & 2 Corinthians 13:14)
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. (John 3:16, Luke 1:35, Acts 4:12, John 14:3, Romans 8:34, and Hebrews 12:2)
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. (John 16:5-15)
We believe that we are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God and therefore need a Savior. (Romans 3:23)
We believe that we must repent and turn away from our sins. (Acts 3:19, Matthew 4:17, Acts 2:38, and Acts 17:30)
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to Heaven. (John 14:6)
We believe that what God called sin in the Bible, is still sin today and always will be. (Galatians 5:19-21 and 1 John 3:4-6)
We believe in keeping all of God’s Commandments and living a set-apart life. (John 14:15, 2 John 1:6, Psalm 4:3, and 1 Peter 1:14-16)
We believe that Holy Matrimony was created and ordained by God. Holy Matrimony is between a man and a woman. (Matthew 19:4-6)
We believe that life begins at conception. Therefore, abortion is murder and is the shedding of innocent blood.
(Jeremiah 1:5 and Psalm 139:13-16)
We believe in eternal life in Heaven for born-again children of God. We believe in eternal damnation in Hell for those who reject the Son of God and His gospel. (Romans 2:6-8 and Matthew 25:46)
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Philippians 2:2, Acts 4:32, and Romans 12:16)
We believe that God is still a miracle-working God. God can still heal the sick, drive out demons, save the lost, restore the lost and broken, break curses, break addictions, give hope to the hopeless, and more. (Psalm 77:14)
We believe that the Holy Spirit is crucial in a believer’s life. We need the help of the Holy Spirit. Without a life full of the Holy Spirit, it is impossible to The Holy Spirit comforts us, helps us, guides us, reminds us, teaches us, comes along side us, counsels us, and intercedes and advocates for us. There is no area of life in which the believer does not build the body of Christ, and we end up limiting God’s work in our lives. (John 14:26, John 16:13, 1 Corinthians 2:10, John 14:15-17, 1 Corinthians 2:13, Romans 8:26, and 2 Peter 1:21)
We believe that we must be filled with the Holy Spirit. In order to be filled with the Holy Spirit we must accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, repent of our sins, be baptized, and ask God to fill us with his Holy Spirit. God gives His Holy Spirit to those who ask Him.
(Luke 11:13 and Acts 2:38)
We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit which are given by the Holy Spirit as He sees fit. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the WORD OF WISDOM, to another the WORD OF KNOWLEDGE, to another FAITH, to another GIFTS OF HEALINGS, to another the WORKING OF MIRACLES, to another PROPHESY, to another DISCERNING OF SPIRITS, to another SPEAKING OF TONGUES, and to another the INTERPRETATION OF TONGUES. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills. (1 Corinthians 12:7-11, 1 Corinthians 14:1-40, 1 Peter 4:10, 1 Corinthians 14:39, and Romans 12:6)

We believe that water Baptism by full immersion, is a fundamental step of obedience in our walk with Christ. (Romans 6:3-4 and Colossians 2:12, Acts 22:16, John 3:5, and Mark 16:16, Matthew 3:11)
